PURCHASE AND SALE

Jan Strick offers a wide range of violins, violas and cellos, from learner's violins to valuable instruments, as well as new instruments, fully handmade by himself or his best assistants.

A dedicated violin-maker, Jan Strick travels worldwide to find high-quality instruments of all origins, with a preference for Belgian, French and Italian instruments.

Jan Strick also purchases instruments from private individuals and accepts instruments on consignment. Instrument exchanges are also possible, for instance for growing children, who require different sized instruments over the years.

COLLECTION

Jacques Bernard was passionately interested in instruments and owned a large collection of ancient stringed instruments of all types and origins. Jan Strick shares this interest and is himself the owner of a collection of various instruments and curios.

INSURANCE

Maison Bernard guarantees the value of instruments for the Lark Insurance Company (U.K.).

This is one of the few insurance companies in the world to run a special department for musical instruments and offer policies specially tailored to the risks to which musical instruments are exposed. For instance, the company offers worldwide coverage.

Continuing relations with this insurance company have made it possible since fifteen years to offer reliable and competent service to those customers of Maison Bernard who use the firm as an intermediary.
