Eufonia Competition for Violinmakers : Geert DAEMS, apprentice in the workshop of Jan Strick, recently won the 1st price of the apprentice’s violinmakers, with a very nice cello (see photo), model Jan Strick.
The Eufonia competition is an European Competition held in Bulgaria, Rumenia and Belgium, in November 2009, and open to all European violinmakers.
